Most of you who read this blog know that I have an amazing sister, Grace, who is 14 years old. She and I may be separated by 23 years, and we may have been born to different parents on different sides of the world, but I couldn't love her more than if we were related by blood. And technically, since we are both Christians...we
are related by blood....Christ's blood. :)

The girls and I traveled to Austin a few weeks ago to attend Grace's dance recital. What a TREAT!! Unfortunately, no photography was allowed during the recital so I don't have any images to help me describe just how
FABULOUS it was. Grace takes dance at The Love of China School of Chinese Dance, where they of course learn Chinese dance. At the recital there were ribbon dances, fan dances, kite dances, hankerchief dances, martial arts inspired dances, Chinese yo-yo demonstrations, just to name a few of the 30 performances we saw. The performers ranged in age from toddlers to college students...and at least one college student traveled across the country just to be a part of the show. Again - the word that I keep coming back to is
FABULOUS!

After the show, Mom & Dad took us all to the Macaroni Grill to eat. yummmmm! :) It was a very special treat! These bluebonnets were growing up the embankment in the parking lot of the shopping center the restaurant was in. Of course, we ALL needed pictures of it! You never know just how long it will be until we have the weather conditions that make it favorable for the wildflowers again.
